"You need to tell me what your favorite color is too so I can pick something extra you'd enjoy as well." Armand is nothing if not adaptable, and he does like to please, on occasion, if his partner deserves it.
Ganymede has been one of the rare good ones, and Armand always had a thing for older men, heh. They can both make things fun and exciting in ways most people can, either thanks to their experiences or their powers. It's not like Armand wants to be particularly rough with Ganymede, but human beings are so fragile, and in the past, he always had to help back. It's refreshing to be with someone with a stronger capacity to bounce back, too, and Armand doesn't treat him with kid gloves or as if he's a breakable thing.
He smiles as the small contact walks, pleased by the little displays and enjoying the evening. He's surrounded by beautiful pieces of art all around, and that includes the man walking alongside him.
"And that goes both ways. I never had many real friends."
And those who once were held dear to his heart when he was human were murdered. His own best friend fell by Armand's own hands after being looked up and left to slowly go mad from thirst by the Children of Satan. Poor Riccardo, thrown in the same cell as Armand without knowing that there was a monster instead of his good friend. Murdered by blind desperation. It's why Armand won't let others cage him up ever again. But those were darker times that he'd rather not think about; it hurt too much.
"I do know. But maybe it's not safe for you to be that close to a creature of darkness."
He has to at least warn Ganymede about it, because he holds the man in high regard and would hate to see him hurt. His boon of immortality makes him more willing to survive than many, but there are things worse than death.
Ah, dancing. He will truly love that. It feels like the last time was decades ago. It might as well be. He misses that sort of thing and would absolutely be charmed if Ganymede took him to such a place.
Since he's trying to stay away from the other man's head, he's a tad surprised by the spin. Armand goes along with it easily, his natural grace and his vampire reflection making it an elegant spin despite being caught off guard. If the other visitors give them curious looks, he can't find himself caring enough.
"What a charmer you are. Ah, where were you 350 years ago? And neither did I, but the good thing about Florence is that the heart of the city still remains after so many centuries, even if the layout changes." He laughs at the mental image of Ganymede undressing in front of the David and causing a scene. "Wouldn't that be something to see, though? That day, the entrance ticket should triple the price for the live show."
